AcreBox ("we", "us") is an independent property information and lead-generation portal. We are not a builder or a developer — when you enquire about a project listed on AcreBox, your details are passed on to the relevant channel partner or builder for that specific project so they can get in touch with you. This policy explains what we collect and how it's used.

Information We Collect

  • Your name, mobile number, and email address (if provided) when you submit an enquiry form.
  • The project or configuration you enquired about.
  • Basic technical data such as the page you enquired from and campaign source (UTM parameters), used for tracking which listings and channels are generating enquiries.
  • Your email address if you subscribe to our newsletter — used only to send you new-project and price-update emails, nothing else.

How We Use It

  • To respond to your enquiry and connect you with the channel partner or builder for the project you enquired about.
  • To contact you by call, SMS, email, or WhatsApp regarding that enquiry — only when you've given consent on the enquiry form.
  • To send newsletter emails about new projects and price updates — only if you've subscribed, and you can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any newsletter email.
  • To improve our listings and understand which projects and pages visitors are interested in.

Who We Share It With

We share your enquiry details only with the channel partner(s) or builder relevant to the specific project you enquired about, so they can respond to you. We do not sell your information to unrelated third parties.

DND / NDNC Consent

By checking the consent box on an enquiry form, you authorize AcreBox and the relevant channel partner to contact you about that project even if your number is registered under India's National Do Not Call (NDNC) / DND registry, as permitted under applicable TRAI regulations for opt-in commercial communication.

Your Rights Under India's DPDP Act, 2023

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, AcreBox acts as a Data Fiduciary for the personal data you provide us, and you (the "Data Principal") have the right to:

  • Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it's being processed.
  • Correct, update, or complete any inaccurate personal data you've submitted.
  • Request erasure of your personal data once it's no longer needed for the purpose it was collected for.
  • Withdraw consent at any time — for enquiries, by telling the channel partner you were connected with; for the newsletter, via the unsubscribe link in any email.
  • Nominate another individual to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity.
  • Raise a grievance with us first, and escalate to the Data Protection Board of India if it isn't resolved to your satisfaction.

We retain enquiry and newsletter data only for as long as it serves the purpose it was collected for, or as required by law, and delete or anonymize it thereafter. To exercise any of these rights, reach out through the enquiry form on any project page, the unsubscribe link in a newsletter email, or the channel partner you were connected with.
